So there we have it, the end of another year and the end of a decade!  Where has the time gone?! I still remember partying like its 1999!

Its been a pretty eventful decade:

9/11, Boxing Day Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, Obama, Death of MJ, X-Factor stupidness, Avatar (and 3D cinema in general), Swine Flu, The Credit Crunch, iPod/iPhone, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, The Dark Knight, Social Networks, Windows Vista (lol)

So how did you spend the last night of 2009?

I was on the lineup for Destination 2010 @ The Gherkin Tower alongside Bobby Friction and Sonny Ji of BBC Asian Network (details here)

What a night it was… I opened the night with a mixed bag of RnB, House, Hiphop, Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Bhangra, Funk, Garage, Pop and pretty much anything else I could fit into the mix for 3 hours leading up to midnight.

3…2…1…

After the all important midnight countdown, the reins were handed over to Bobby Friction for 2 hours of his signature style of east/west fusion.  By now the place was rammed with approximately 450 people attending! Come 2am, Sonny Ji takes over, accompanied by live Saxaphonist Trav Saxingh, to see the remainder of the night through!

All-in-all a great end to the year. Lets hope this decade is just as eventful as the last!!!
