During the summer of 2009, the DNBA Producers Forum has a competition where the theme is to produce a track which represents Summer.

This was my entry – Summernova

The track uses samples from “Towa Tei – Technova / Dubnova” (hence the name Summernova) and “A Tribe Called Quest – Find A Way”

Its about that time where I usually put together a mix of my favourite DnB tunes of the year…

Its been a pretty fantastic year for music so it was near impossible to narrow it down.. ended up being a 2 hour mix!!!

1 – The Chase

This tune is one of those really progressive driving tunes which (hopefully) gets your neck looking like a pidgeon on crack!

2 – Dream

This track, as the title suggests is a bit more dreamy and chilled out…

Every year around November time, the Drum & Bass Arena producers forum members get together and have a little production competition where the idea is to produce a track which sounds like winter.

This year the brief was to produce a tune which sounds like the Cold, Dark, Lonely side of winter…

A real good turn out.. with 27 of the forum members taking place!

All the tunes were then posted for everyone to vote for the top three and points were given accordingly

Here’s one my tunes from about 3 years ago. Its the first track I completed when I made the switch from Cubase (PC) to Logic (Mac)

Ok Ok.. I know this aint a proper video but I was just a bit keen to upload a video onto YouTube.
Maybe one day I’ll create a proper video!

My latest track, “Maya” has been receiving a lot of love from BBC Asian Network’s Electro East show with Nerm.

Over the past 4 weeks, its slowly been making its way up the track listing and being played earlier on in the show…

Nerm has even described the track as…

Its quite delicious and beautiful isn’t it? Its like a rather soft pink Grapefruit, with some cardamom pushed in the skin

Exciting times!!

I swear, soundcloud is pretty much the greatest invention ever for music on the web…

The interface.. the quality.. the usability.. everything about it is excellent!!

and look how nicely it fits into blogs..
